ARLINGTON, Texas -- Gerald Sensabaugh admits he does not remember his first-quarter interception or sack of Rex Grossman because of a concussion, but the Cowboys strong safety promises he will be ready for the Christmas night game at Arizona.
“It’s always disappointing when you can’t play,” Sensabaugh said. “I tried to go back out there but I guess I was a little discombobulated.”
Sensabaugh will have to pass a series of tests before he is allowed to get back on the practice field. Orlando Scandrick needed four days to recover before he was able to get back to practice a few weeks ago after suffering a concussion.
“I’ve not had one in a long time,” Sensabaugh said, “but I should be OK.”
Rookie Barry Church replaced Sensabaugh and struggled. He would start against the Cardinals if Sensabaugh is unavailable.
“It was a lot different than when I was in the preseason,” Church said. “A lot faster.”
