IRVING, Texas -- Felix Jones, the Cowboys' leading rusher, was not on the practice field during the open media session Wednesday because he's nursing a shin contusion.

Jones, who was injured in last week's win over the Redskins, didn't participate in Tuesday's walkthrough session either.

Sean Lee and Gerald Sensabaugh who are trying to recover from concussions, attended practice but didn't wear shoulder pads or helmets. Both players said they've passed league-mandated concussion tests.

Bradie James (knee) and Keith Brooking (foot) missed practice as expected, but at this stage of the season it's more of a precaution than anything else.

Marion Barber, who missed the last three games with a calf injury, and Roy Williams, out last week with a groin injury, participated in practice.
Calvin Watkins joined ESPNDallas.com in September 2009. He's covered the Cowboys since 2006 and also has covered colleges, boxing and high school sports.
