IRVING, Texas -- Interim coach Jason Garrett said last week that he intended to use all three running backs if they were all healthy.
The only thing that's changed since then is the likelihood of all the running backs being healthy enough to play Saturday.
Felix Jones (shin) hasn't practiced this week but is expected to play. Marion Barber continues to progress after missing the last three games with a calf strain and is expected to return against the Cardinals. Tashard Choice has a clean bill of health.
"We just want to make sure we give each of them opportunities," Garrett said. "Felix has been the guy who has carried the ball the most this season so I don't see that trend changing. But we want to give Tashard opportunities and we want to see where Marion is physically and if he's ready to go, give him some chances as well."
Garrett made it clear that Jones would continue to get the most carries. How the rest of the work is split between Barber and Choice is a mystery to many, including Choice.
"I have no idea," said Choice, who has rushed for 169 carries and two touchdowns on 41 carries the last three games. "We don't know yet. I guess we'll find out when the game comes."
