GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The memorabilia acquired by Miles Austin on the University of Phoenix Stadium field isn’t a Christmas present for any young relatives.
Austin swapped jerseys with Cardinals star receiver Larry Fitzgerald after the Cowboys’ loss. Austin said the trade was arranged before the game.
This came less than two weeks after Tashard Choice’s postgame autograph request of Eagles quarterback Mike Vick sparked a major controversy. But Austin said that wasn’t on his mind when Fitzgerald approached him after the game with his jersey already off.
"I don’t want to say I was tentative," Austin told reporters, "especially since we had already spoken about it."
