Jon Kitna isn't practicing

Interim coach Jason Garrett made it clear that Jon Kitna would start at quarterback in the season finale if the 38-year-old quarterback is healthy.

Kitna, who strained his left oblique in Saturday's loss to the Cardinals, isn't healthy enough to practice today at Cowboys Stadium. Third-stringer Stephen McGee will get all the reps with the starters.

Receivers/special teamers Sam Hurd (head) and Jesse Holley (knee) aren't practicing, either. Inside linebackers Bradie James (knee) and Leon Williams (hamstring) also have the day off.

Receiver Roy Williams, whose sore groin limited him all of last week, is at least dressed out for the practice.
