IRVING, Texas -- For the second straight year John Daly and Tony Romo will be teammates at the Pebble Beach Pro Am that runs Feb. 7-13.
For those following @PGA_JohnDaly on Twitter, you know that Daly will be coming back from a tournament in Qatar to play at Pebble Beach.
And for those ready to gnash their teeth over Romo playing golf after missing the final 10 games of the Cowboys’ season with a fractured left collarbone: He’s been cleared physically. Romo suffered the injury Oct. 25 and said after the season finale at Philadelphia that he would have pushed to have played against the Eagles had he not been placed on injured reserve. Unless he takes some sort of Bob Barker beat down from Happy Gilmore on the famed course, you don’t have to worry.
Romo and Daly did not make the cut at last year’s event. It does not help their cause that Romo plays to a scratch handicap and does not get any strokes.
