DFW International Airport has re-opened after closing some this morning during the bad weather, according to DFW Airport spokesperson David Magana.

"We can take flights and now it's a matter of getting the deicing operations going, and they are underway," Magana said.

He added that 300 departures have been cancelled so far and that a normal daily schedule is 850 flights.

The airport has seven runways, so it takes time to get them all cleared, but they are opening them back up one-by-one as they try to get as many flights out as they can.
