DALLAS -- Whenever Jason Witten’s career comes to an end, he might have a career in coaching.

At the Tazon Latino V flag football game on Wednesday, Team Jason Witten beat Team Tony Romo, 41-34, at the NFL Experience. The game was played with a number of former NFL stars and Latino celebrities.

“You give the ball to Rich Gannon and let him go to work,” Witten said. “I think Tony’s disappointed. He tried cheating at the end and threw a pass.”

Witten made his way through Radio Row with Skylar, a 13-year-old student at Grapevine Middle School as part of the NFL’s Fuel Up to Play 60 program that encourages children to exercise for 60 minutes a day. Skylar was the only girl on the middle school team, playing wide receiver.

“Anytime you can get partnered up with kids, getting out and exercising, being active, as a role model that’s what you want to put your name on,” Witten said. “You want to encourage them to be active in sports.”
