The lockout has prevented NFL players from having access to team facilities and talking to team officials. Yet players are working out on their own, and Terence Newman and Tony Romo have noted that they'd like to get several Cowboys' players to gather together for offseason workouts.

Those workouts will be at a secret location, or so we guess, since no player will confirm they're actually happening.

"Been a productive offseason considering the circumstances," linebacker Keith Brooking said. "Can't wait to get back with my teammates. I'm actually going back to [Dallas] this weekend for the remainder of the offseason."

The Cowboys would have started their voluntary offseason workout plan on March 21, but the labor issues put a halt to that. Jason Garrett said he's confident his players will work out on their own and come to the facilities in shape whenever the lockout ends.

Several players, including Tashard Choice and Martellus Bennett, have tweeted they are working out.

"To the fans, I feel very confident that we will play a full season," Brooking said. "And the Cowboys will be ready."
