Alan Ball, Jesse Holley, Bryan McCann sign
Safety Alan Ball, wide receiver Jesse Holley and cornerback Bryan McCann signed their contracts. Those players were restricted free agents and the team had the right of first refusal on them.
The three players can attend practices and meetings but per the new terms of the collective bargaining agreement, can't practice until August 4.
Ball signed his restricted free agent tender worth $1.2 million, and Holley and McCann signed their $450,000 exclusive rights free agent deals.
Ball, who started at free safety last year, most likely will be moved back to his more natural position of cornerback. McCann proved he can be a speedy threat as a kick returner last year. McCann averaged 22 yards on 23 returns last year. He also returned his first career interception 101 yards for a touchdown last season at the New York Giants.
Holley, who made the roster a few years ago as the winner of Michael Irvin's reality TV show, finished third on the team with 16 special teams tackles last year.
