SAN ANTONIO -- Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said the team is still in the market for a safety, most likely two.

The Cowboys have talked to the agent of free agent Abram Elam and held a preliminary discussion with Gerald Sensabaugh.

In training camp, the Cowboys have Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, Andrew Sendejo, Collin Zych, Danny McCray and Barry Church on the roster.

Owusu-Ansah and Church are getting work with the first-team defense in camp.

There are some other safeties on the market with experience, including Donte Whitner, Atari Bigby, Dashon Goldson and Darren Sharper, but it seems the team is focused on at least Elam for the moment.
