ARLINGTON, Texas -- Last year a wrist injury led to the departure of Titus Ryan from the Cowboys. This year it is a foot injury.

The Cowboys waived the wide receiver on Friday and added TCU-ex Curtis Clay to keep the training camp roster at 90.

Ryan suffered a foot injury last week and the hope was that with some rest he would be able to return quickly but that did not happen. If Ryan is not claimed, he would revert to the Cowboy’ injured reserve list and would likely receive an injury settlement.

Clay had 34 catches for his career and three touchdowns at TCU.
