IRVING, Texas -- The Buffalo Bills claimed former Cowboys tackle Sam Young on Tuesday.

Young made the Cowboys' 53-man roster Saturday but was released Monday to make room for veteran guard Derrick Dockery, who is replacing Montrae Holland.

Jermey Parnell had a better preseason than Young, though both players gave up a sack in the finale at Miami.

The Cowboys planned on bringing Young back to the practice squad before he signed with the Bills.
Calvin Watkins joined ESPNDallas.com in September 2009. He's covered the Cowboys since 2006 and also has covered colleges, boxing and high school sports.
