EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Cornerback Mike Jenkins suffered a left shoulder injury after a blindside block from New York Jets receiver Plaxico Burress with 13:48 left in the fourth quarter.

Jenkins, who missed the preseason with a stinger, grabbed his left shoulder as he went to the ground. He went straight to the locker room with the athletic trainers and was replaced by Bryan McCann. Orlando Scandrick suffered a sprained ankle in the first half and is out, leaving the Cowboys with only two healthy corners: McCann and Alan Ball.

Terence Newman is inactive because of a groin injury.

Jenkins missed a handful of snaps in the first half after going low on a tackle but managed to return. Backup safety Barry Church took over as the nickel cornerback.
