Felix Jones joins questionable list

IRVING, Texas -- Felix Jones joins wide receiver Dez Bryant and quarterback Tony Romo as questionable on the official injury report for Monday’s game against Washington.

Jones was limited in practice for the second straight day after suffering a dislocated right shoulder last week at San Francisco. He will wear a protective harness if he does play. He suffered the injury on the first series of the game and was limited in his return. If he cannot play, then the Cowboys will use Tashard Choice and rookie DeMarco Murray at tailback.

Kicker David Buehler is listed as questionable with a groin injury, but “I’m going Monday, for sure. Without a doubt,” Buehler said.

He had only a few kicks during the week and was limited on Friday and Saturday. He said he will kick early at Cowboys Stadium.

“It’s feeling good and we’ve still got a couple of days to heal,” Buehler said. “I’m looking forward to this game. They’ve got a great returner.”

If Buehler cannot kick, then rookie Dan Bailey would take over all of the duties.

As expected wide receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) and guard Derrick Dockery (knee) will not play, and cornerback Orlando Scandrick will miss his second straight game with an ankle injury.

Center Phil Costa (knee), cornerback Mike Jenkins (shoulder), guard Bill Nagy (neck), cornerback Terence Newman (groin) and linebacker Anthony Spencer (shoulder) are probable.

Newman will make his season debut after missing six-plus weeks with a groin injury suffered in training camp.
