IRVING, Texas -- John Parry’s crew will work Sunday’s game vs. Detroit after working the Denver-Tennessee game last week.

The last time Parry worked a Cowboys’ game came in Week 7 last year in a 41-35 loss to the New York Giants, which you might remember as when Tony Romo was lost for the year with a broken collarbone. The Cowboys were flagged just five times for 42 yards, while the Giants had six penalties for 46 yards. Six of the penalties were holding calls (five on offense, one on defense).

Last week, Parry’s crew had 12 penalties. The visiting Broncos were penalized once for 15 yards. The Titans had 11 penalties for 80 yards.

The breakdown:

Holding – 3
False start – 1
Offside – 3
Roughing the passer – 1
Face mask – 2
Encroachment – 1
Illegal formation – 1

Quarter-by-quarter:

First – 5
Second – 1
Third – 1
Fourth – 5
