IRVING -- The Cowboys are back to work at Valley Ranch with no helmets or shoulder pads due to the short week. The Cowboys haven't practiced in full pads since Sept. 14.

This looks more like a walkthrough session and Tony Romo (ribs), Felix Jones (shoulder) and Dez Bryant (thigh) were there, each played with their injuries in the Week 3 victory over the Washington Redskins.

Also, Orlando Scandrick (ankle) began the rehab process by working with the resistance cords. Jason Hatcher (calf), Miles Austin (hamstring), David Buehler (groin) and Derrick Dockery (knee) did not practice. Hatcher, Austin and Dockery will not play vs. the Lions on Sunday.

Buehler has a chance.
