Dirk Nowitzki offers support of Romo
IRVING, Texas -- Dirk Nowitzki does not have an NBA season to prepare for just yet, so he must be paying attention to the Cowboys.
Via Twitter, Nowitzki (@swish41) offered up some encouragement for Tony Romo after the quarterback’s three interceptions led to Detroit’s comeback victory Sunday at Cowboys Stadium:
Dear tony romo. Don't worry abt all the critics. I heard that same garbage for a long time. Keep working hard/keep improving
Nowitzki silenced his critics by leading the Mavericks to an NBA title this summer after falling short for so many years. Romo likely will not be able to silence his until he wins a Super Bowl.
