IRVING -- Cowboys inside linebacker Sean Lee missed last week's game vs. Seattle with a dislocated left wrist. But Lee is determined to play this week and is in the process of trying to practice on Wednesday with a hard cast.
Team doctors want the swelling to go down in Lee's wrist before clearing him for least practice. Lee is scheduled to undergo exams today to determine if he can participate in Sunday's game vs. Buffalo.
With Lee out, the Cowboys used Keith Brooking and Bradie James as the staring inside linebackers but also mixed and matched a variety of players at inside linebacker from Barry Church, Bruce Carter and Alex Albright.
"We've got a way that is technically a secure way to have him play and function and not risk further injury," Jerry Jones said after the Seattle game. "He's got to have the swelling down. But that's getting right. Then, he's got to be comfortable himself. But I think that can happen. I'm planning on that happening, and we're planning on that happening."
