IRVING, Texas -- DeMarcus Ware wanted to practice Wednesday despite a stinger suffered at Arizona, but he was held out of the workout for precautionary reasons.
But the Cowboys’ outside linebacker said he will play Sunday against the New York Giants. Ware has not missed a game in his career and has been able to play through neck/stinger types of injuries in the past.
“They didn’t want me to hit it again and then have me miss some more time with it,” Ware said. “I’ll be running around tomorrow and doing stuff. I’ll be back. I guess the way to say it is they want to be smart with it.”
