Officials breakdown: Bill Leavy

IRVING, Texas -- The Cowboys will get their first look at Bill Leavy’s officiating crew this season when they play Philadelphia on Saturday at Cowboys Stadium.

The last time Leavy worked a Cowboys’ game was Jason Garrett’s first game as interim head coach on Nov. 14, 2010 against the New York Giants. The Cowboys had five penalties for 60 yards and the Giants had eight for 129 yards.

Last week, Leavy’s crew had fun with Detroit at Oakland, calling 20 penalties (19 accepted). The Lions were penalized nine times for 72 yards and the Raiders had 10 flags for 86 yards.
