ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Cowboys will have a chance to not only avenge their worst loss with Jason Garrett as coach -- 34-7 at Lincoln Financial Field on Oct. 30 -- with a win, but they will also be able to maintain their first-place standing in the NFC East.
It won’t be easy. Andy Reid has won six straight games against the Cowboys in December, but he has not swept Dallas since 2006.
Cowboys Update (8-6): Tony Romo is 4-4 all-time vs. Philadelphia but has completed only 58 pecent of his passes (152 of 262) for 1,996 yards with 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He has a 78.7 career passer rating against the Eagles. He has had four games against the Eagles in which his passer rating did not top 66.7. He has also been sacked 20 times.
Eagles update (6-8): Philadelphia enters Week 16 with a league-leading 46 sacks. Jason Babin has 18, and fellow defensive end Trent Cole has nine. Of the 46 sacks, 24 came in road games, however, nine came in one game at Philadelphia. The Cowboys will have to stay out of third-and-long situations to keep Babin and Cole off balance.
