INDIANAPOLIS -- The Cowboys have not been in a Super Bowl since the 1995 season. They have won two playoff games since 1996. They have missed the playoffs in three of the last four seasons.

Owner and general manager Jerry Jones has always been at the top of the list in the blame game, but after the Cowboys finished 8-8 in 2011 by losing four of their final games the angst about Jones’ job performance seems greater than at any point in recent memory.

Jones, however, does not see 2012 as any different to him.

“I travel and I’m out around the country a lot and I don’t see that issue anywhere,” Jones said. “Not any more. I didn’t come to the Cowboys with a honeymoon and so I don’t recall a time when I haven’t had critics in my 23 years. And I don’t. First of all, you’ve got to have a sensitivity to it and I’m aware of what sells newspapers. Seriously. That just goes with it.”
