Should Cowboys start over at QB?
March, 1, 2012
First Take's Eric Mangini, Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless debate Jerry Jones' comments saying he would trade Tony Romo for Robert Griffin III or Andrew Luck.
The Cowboys owner has said the team has no interest in starting over with the top quarterbacks in this year’s draft, ruling out any trade up for the next "franchise" QBs.
“I’m not interested in going in starting with a rookie quarterback or doing anything that might be better for us three, four years from now over any proven player that we’ve got,” Jones said.
Romo had one of his better years in 2011, but the Cowboys missed out on the playoffs again.
Jones' decisions are based on improving the Cowboys now, but is it better in the long term for the team to make a move for Luck or Griffin?
