Victor Cruz did his salsa dance twice with two television reporters at the Nike NFL uniform launch event on Tuesday. And he certainly plans on dancing later this season on the football field as well no matter what Brandon Carr says.
In case you missed it, Carr said last week that he plans on putting a halt to the Cruz salsa dance. The Cowboys' newest cornerback said he plans to get physical with Cruz.
Cruz says he's ready.
“It’s cool," he said. "I understand guys are going to talk, but it’s only April, man. We still got a long way to go. I’ll just let all my talking go on the field.”
Cruz responded to Carr saying that the Giants receiver will have to go through him on opening night.
"I want to use all my body,” Carr said on ESPN’s NFL Live last week. “I'm six-foot, 200 pounds. I know he's got to run through me to get wherever he's running, so I'm going to be patient at the line. All that salsa dancing, that's fine, but you've got to come through me."
“I don't plan on seeing no dancing," Carr added.
