ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Cowboys have yet to finalize a deal with first-round pick Morris Claiborne, which could keep him from joining his new teammates on the field when training camp begins in late July.
And if Claiborne isn't ready for the start of camp, it won't be because he's still recovering from left wrist surgery.
"I'm not worried about [the contract] right now," Claiborne said after the final day of the Cowboys' mandatory minicamp Thursday. "Everything that I've been hearing is it's been going good. Those guys are the professionals at that. I like to know what's going on, and I leave it up to them."
Only two of the top-10 overall picks in the NFL draft have signed deals so far.
