But Jenkins first must get cleared by doctors. He is scheduled to visit Dr. James Andrews next Monday in Birmingham, Ala., to have his surgically repaired shoulder checked out.
Andrews performed the surgery on Jenkins, and Cowboys officials want to see if he'll clear him for practice. If and when Andrews clears Jenkins, Cowboys doctors will then examine him.
Jenkins said he can do everything with his shoulder and said his range of motion is fine.
"He looks in better shape than all of them," Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said of Jenkins. "He told me and (the trainers) told me he's really been working."
Jones, Holmes and Pool are doing remedial running work after failing their conditioning tests.
