OXNARD, Calif. -- Jay Ratliff hasn’t practiced since December.
It might seem to be problematic that plantar fasciitis has prevented the four-time Pro Bowl nose tackle from doing anything more than participating in walkthroughs and working out on the side, but Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones isn’t sweating about Ratliff.
“We feel good about Jay,” Jones said. “We feel real good about Jay. We’re not worried about that a bit.”
The Cowboys hope that being conservative with Ratliff now will keep his foot from nagging him during the regular season.
