IRVING, Texas – So much of the story surrounding Morris Claiborne during the offseason was the wrist injury that kept him out of the organized team activities and minicamp and the knee sprain that knocked him out for a few days of training camp.
With the New York Giants on the horizon Wednesday, there is no such talk surrounding the Cowboys’ first-round pick these days.
Now it’s about football.
“Oh, yeah, I believe so,” Claiborne said when asked if he was ready. “I’ve been preparing for this moment. It’s slowly getting here.”
“I know they’re coming,” Claiborne said. “It’s just up to me to prepare myself the way I’ve been preparing to be ready for that.”
