IRVING, Texas -- The Cowboys were in shells on this Labor Day, including tight end Jason Witten (spleen), who attended practice and participated in pat-and-go during the open media portion the session.

However, nose tackle Jay Ratliff (ankle), safety Danny McCray (neck) and safety Matt Johnson (hamstring) were not expected participants.

Cornerback Mike Jenkins, wearing a white baseball cap, was doing some stretching and looked to get back into the flow of things for Monday's session.

Linebacker Kyle Wilber (thumb) was getting some scout team work and moving fine. If you're worried about that hand, he was carrying two heavy trays of Gatorade on Sunday.

A couple of players to watch out for on Wednesday's game: Mana Silva, Andre Holmes and quite possibly Lance Dunbar. Yes, he's on the practice squad, but the Cowboys might move him to the active roster to have another returner on the field.
