EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Week 1 is over for the Dallas Cowboys, and they're 1-0 heading into a nice long weekend. The Cowboys won't play again for 10 more days. That's when they visit the Seattle Seahawks.

Before he move to that, let's talk about what happened Wednesday night in Dallas' 24-17 victory against the New York Giants with our weekly Stock Report.

Kevin Ogletree: The No. 3 receiver had an outstanding performance, which might result in him getting picked up in a few more fantasy football leagues. Ogletree finished with career-highs in catches (eight), yards (114) and touchdowns (two). According to ESPN Stats and Information, Ogletree was targeted a career-high 11 times, five more than his previous best.

DeMarcus Ware: The outside linebacker talked about setting the tone for the season. How's this for starters? Two sacks and five solo tackles. Ware dominated Giants tackles Sean Locklear and David Diehl. Ware faced double-teams, single coverage and quick throws during the game. Just a regular night for the Cowboys' best player.

Sean Lee: Big night for the starting inside linebacker, who finished with 12 total tackles (10 solo) and forced a fumble that, as Ware talked about before the game, set the tone for the Cowboys. Lee is one of the leaders of this defense, and he helped hold the Giants to just 82 yards rushing.

STOCK DOWN
Phil Costa: The starting center played only three snaps before his back locked up on him and he had to be replaced by newly signed Ryan Cook. Now Cook wasn't perfect, but the veteran was more than serviceable. What this means for Costa's future is uncertain because of his health.

Tyron Smith: The second-year tackle struggled at times on Wednesday night. Of the five false start penalties that were called, three were on the new left tackle. Smith also had a horse collar called against him on an interception return, but that ended up being a blessing in disguise because it prevented a touchdown. The Giants settled for a field goal.

Felix Jones: For the third time in his career, Jones was active for a game and didn't get a single carry. Jones left the game briefly after getting shaken up, but he did return. On kickoff returns, it seems Jones has lost a burst from when he first had did the job as a rookie. Maybe he could lose five pounds or so? Jones averaged 20.3 yards a return.
