On Sunday they head to Seattle’s CenturyLink Field, which is among the loudest stadiums in the NFL.

To prepare for the Seahawks, the Cowboys will do something they did not do in preparation for the Giants: pump in crowd noise at practice.

“All week long there will be sound at practice,” coach Jason Garrett said. “This is a very difficult place to play. It’s loud, almost a college-type atmosphere, so we have t make sure we handle it better this week than we did last week. We had too many pre-snap penalties last week. Noise was probably a factor in that. Not the only factor in that, but we have to get better in that area, so we’re going to try as coaches to put our players in the best position to be ready for that all week long.”

With Monday’s practice, the Cowboys have an extra day to prepare for the Seahawks, who visited Cowboys Stadium last season.

“We’ve played them in recent years but it’s not like they’re a division opponent,” Garrett said. “So we want to make sure we’re on top of their new personnel and some of the things they’re doing with their personnel. So this will be an important day for us.”
