Both players promised to be ready for next week’s home opener at Cowboys Stadium against Tampa Bay.
“It just kind of popped a little bit,” said Sensabaugh, who suffered the injury on a Marshawn Lynch run, “but I’m all right.”
Sensabaugh suffered from concussion-like symptoms after the season-opening win at the New York Giants on Sept. 5 and was limited for one day of practice before fully participating Thursday and Friday.
Church attempted to return for a few snaps but was unable to get his leg loose.
“It’s probably one of the toughest feelings just sitting there watching a team kind of drive the field and know you can’t do anything about it because you’re injured,” Church said. “I felt like I wasn’t there for my teammates. I’m going to try to get healthy as I can and I’ll be back for next week.”
