Week later, Kevin Ogletree held in check

September, 17, 2012
SEATTLE -- Kevin Ogletree opened a lot of eyes when he caught a career-high eight passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys’ season-opening win at the New York Giants.

He looked even better when he caught a 26-yard pass from Tony Romo on the offense’s second series after Romo spun away from a free-running Seattle defender. On the next play, he picked up 5 yards on a reverse.

He would not touch the ball again. Or have a pass thrown his way.

“A better effort on defense,” Ogletree said when explaining the difference in production. “I think that group there deserves some credit. They game-planned us good, got good players on their side of the ball and made more plays than us.”
