IRVING, Texas -- After being grilled about the Dallas defense's lack of pressure for a few minutes, Rob Ryan decided to ask a question of his own.
"This is a good question," Ryan said. "Of the greatest pass rushers of all-time, who would you say? Just name a guy."
DeMarcus Ware, the second-fastest man to 100 sacks in NFL history, is one of them.
Speaking of which, here's a good question: Why didn't Ware whip Seattle's backup left tackle last week?
"Because we were running the whole time," Ryan said, referring to Marshawn Lynch running the ball down the Cowboys' throats, "and we all know DeMarcus isn’t full speed, either. When he is, look out."
Ware missed a few preseason games with a hamstring strain that was still bothering him last week, when he was limited in practices. He has been listed as a full participant in practices this week.
So how healthy is Ware?
"We’ll find out this week," Ryan said. "I know he’s improving, he’s working on it. When he’s full strength, I agree with you. He’s the best in the league, and he’s the best there ever was."
