ARLINGTON, Texas – Miles Austin's biggest play of the game forced him to the sideline temporarily because of bruised ribs.

Austin suffered the injury on a 49-yard catch from Tony Romo late in the third quarter and missed the next seven offensive plays to get X-rays. He returned and had a 17-yard reception on his first play back.

He was diagnosed with a bruise.

“I don’t know if I landed on the ball or (Eric Wright's) arm or what,” said Austin, who said he felt fine after the game.

Rookie cornerback Morris Claiborne left the game with 44 seconds to play after he said his left pinky came out of place. He said after the game he was fine. Linebacker Bruce Carter lost his helmet on a play and also left the game, but he returned. Carter said he didn't suffer a concussion but did take questions from the medical staff on the sidelines.

Left guard Nate Livings missed three plays in the first quarter because of a right hand injury but he did not miss a snap after that. He was briefly replaced by Derrick Dockery.
