Brandon Marshall hopes Dez Bryant blossoms
IRVING, Texas -- After first passing on the question, Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall answered a query on Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant during a Thursday afternoon conference call with reporters.
Marshall was asked if he sees some similarities between him and Bryant. You could say Marshall and Bryant have had similar issues off the field. But Marshall is, of course, the more accomplished player.
"I think Dez is a great talent," said Marshall, who leads the Bears with 16 catches for 214 yards this season. "I think with the guys he has in the locker room, some Christians, strong believers in that locker room, he's in good place. Dez, I'm looking forward to seeing his career blossom and really take advantage of his opportunities."
