Lawrence Vickers sick, not at practice

September, 28, 2012
IRVING, Texas – Cowboys fullback Lawrence Vickers is sick and was not at the portion of Friday’s practice that was open to the media.

Linebacker Anthony Spencer is also missing his second straight day of work because of a pectoral strain. He said Thursday he expects to play Monday against the Chicago Bears.

"We’re hopeful as he progresses during the week that he gets better and he’s able to play,” coach Jason Garrett said. “He’s been playing very well for us, but he did not get any work done yesterday."

Safety Gerald Sensabaugh (calf) is practicing for the second straight day and linebacker Alex Albright (neck) took part in special teams’ drills. Both players were limited Thursday.

Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (ankle), defensive end Kenyon Coleman (knee), center Phil Costa (back) and safety Matt Johnson (hamstring, back) were also not practicing and are not expected to be back until after the Oct. 7 bye.
