Cowboys release cornerback LeQuan Lewis

IRVING, Texas -- The day after the Cowboys embarrassing performance on Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears, the team released cornerback LeQuan Lewis.

Lewis signed with the team on Sept. 12 and played in three games, getting one tackle.

The release of Lewis brings the team's roster to 52 players heading into a bye week. Morris Claiborne, Brandon Carr, Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick are the corners on currently on the roster.
