IRVING - A look at the snaps played by Cowboys’ defenders in the team’s 34-18 loss to the Chicago Bears, while analyzing what it means:

Gerald Sensabaugh: 55 of 55
Sean Lee: 55 of 55
Brandon Carr: 55 of 55
Victor Butler: 54 of 55
Morris Claiborne: 53 of 55
DeMarcus Ware: 52 of 55
Danny McCray: 45 of 55
Jason Hatcher: 43 of 55
Josh Brent: 37 of 55
Sean Lissemore: 36 of 55
Bruce Carter: 35 of 55
Marcus Spears: 22 of 55
Orlando Scandrick: 19 of 55
Mike Jenkins: 15 of 55
Dan Connor: 14 of 55
Tyrone Crawford: 12 of 55
Kyle Wilber: 3 of 55

Victor Butler has been aching for an opportunity to play after seeing the field for just 35 plays in the first three games. Well, he was on the field for 54 plays and contributed just one tackle, even though the Bears ran the ball 29 times. He blew an opportunity for a sack on the Bears’ first scoring drive. ... With Brandon Carr at cornerback full-time against Brandon Marshall, Mike Jenkins saw his playing time dip by half. ... Rookie Tyrone Crawford continues to get steady playing time in small doses.
