Are hamstrings an issue for the Cowboys?
The Cowboys have dealt with this problem most of the season. Austin and Ware have been on the injury report all season for hamstring injuries. Rookie safety Matt Johnson injured his back while rehabbing from a hamstring injury. Center Ryan Cook has also suffered a hamstring injury and most likely won't play Sunday at Baltimore.In the preseason, Jason Hatcher, Dez Bryant and Anthony Spencer had hamstring problems before recovering in time for the regular season.
Even practice squad wide receiver Danny Coale has tweaked his.
Several other players have done extra stretching to loosen up hamstrings.
"You're always managing those guys and managing a lot of guys on your team," coach Jason Garrett said regarding hamstring issues. "Once you get into the season, guys are always dealing with little nagging type injuries. You manage them through practice a little bit and hopefully you can get them ready to do their best work on Sunday afternoon. We have to do that at practice at the receiver position and really throughout our team."
