IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys might be in the market for another punter.

Veteran Brian Moorman has a groin strain and did not practice Wednesday, and Chris Jones is still recovering from a sprained knee suffered Sept. 23 against Tampa Bay.

Moorman was signed Sept. 26 and averaged 37 yards on three punts against Chicago on Oct. 1, with two punts inside the 20. Moorman was cut by Buffalo on Sept. 25 after he averaged 45.5 yards a punt with a low 32.7-yard net average.

Moorman beat out former Lions punter Ryan Donahue during a workout at Cowboys Stadium.

Jones has kicked some on the side but he did not practice Wednesday.

If Moorman and Jones are not healthy, then kicker Dan Bailey would have his third holder of the season and fifth in his two years.
