Brian Moorman returns to practice
Chris Jones, who punted last week, wasn't at practice but was working in the weight room. Moorman is on the roster because Jones suffered a sprained knee in the Tampa Bay game two weeks ago. But Moorman suffered a groin injury in practice last week and Jones was healthy enough to return to the field.
Spencer has missed the last two games with a strained pectoral muscle.
While the rest of the team attended practice in full pads, Spencer wore only a helmet and shoulder pads. There are no guarantees Spencer will play this weekend at Carolina.
Sean Lissemore (ankle), Ryan Cook (hamstring) and DeMarco Murray (foot) did not attend practice and most likely won't play in Sunday's game against the Panthers.
Mike Jenkins (shoulder), Morris Claiborne (knee) and Matt Johnson (back/hamstring) were practicing. Jenkins and Claiborne were nicked up in the loss to the Ravens and underwent MRIs to determine the extent of their injuries. The MRIs revealed no damage, and Jenkins and Claiborne should play on Sunday.
Johnson, who hasn't played this season, could make his debut at Carolina on special teams.
