IRVING, Texas – Chris Jones did not suffer a setback with his knee injury with one punt Sunday at Baltimore, but he did not practice Wednesday.
The good news for the Cowboys was Brian Moorman was able to practice after missing the Ravens game with a groin injury and will be available Sunday at Carolina.
“I’m ready to go,” Moorman said. “I feel great. The leg feels great and so whatever they need I’m here for them, and hopefully I can help them out.”
Moorman suffered the injury a week ago, which forced Jones back a little sooner than expected from his knee injury on Sept. 23 vs. Tampa Bay. Jones’ one punt Sunday traveled 32 yards and was downed at the Baltimore 8. He also handled the holding duties for kicker Dan Bailey.
“We’re monitoring him day to day and making sure he’s doing OK,” coach Jason Garrett said. “He’s had no setbacks though.”
