Sean Lee on crutches, awaiting MRI results
|Cowboys LB Sean Lee talks about the play of the defense after he exited the game with a foot injury and says he should be ready to play next week against the Giants. |
If Lee can’t play, then Dan Connor would start next to Bruce Carter. Connor had two tackles and knocked down a pass after taking over for Lee against the Panthers.
“He looked like he was comfortable out there,” Garrett said of Connor.
If Lee can’t play, Carter would get the defensive calls from coordinator Rob Ryan.
“Bruce has really improved and grown and matured each week,” Garrett said. “You can see it in his coverage. You can see it in the run game and see it as a leader in how he communicates. He had more responsibility (after Lee was hurt), and I think he handled it well.”
