IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware missed Wednesday's practice because he was sick.
Ware has battled a hamstring injury this season, but it doesn't appear to be giving him trouble now.
The Cowboys were also missing their top two running backs, starter DeMarco Murray (foot) and backup Felix Jones (knee), from practice.
Murray is not expected to play in Sunday's game against the New York Giants.
Safety Matt Johnson (hamstring), center Phil Costa (ankle) and defensive end Sean Lissemore (ankle) missed practice, as well.
The Cowboys held a padded practice at Valley Ranch.
