IRVING, Texas -- In the season opener, the Cowboys were able to do something to New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning that no other defense has been able to do: sack him.

The Cowboys sacked Manning three times in their Sept. 5 win. In the next six games, Manning was been sacked just twice.

During the course of the game, Manning was feeling pressure.

“You can’t let him sit in the pocket,” said DeMarcus Ware, who has sacked Manning 12.5 times in his career. “I mean he’s one of the most prolific quarterbacks. He can throw the deep ball. He can dink and dunk you down the field. And now you’ve got to play him until the end of the game because you never know what he’s going to do. You’ve got to keep him moving around to keep him indecisive. We have to do that the whole game.”
