IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant missed Wednesday's practice with a hip injury.

Bryant injured the hip in the closing seconds of Sunday's game against the New York Giants when he landed hard to the ground after making an apparent game-winning touchdown catch. The catch was waived off after a replay review showed his hand landed out of bounds.

Bryant, who hasn't missed any games this season, has 41 catches for 488 yards and two touchdowns.

The Cowboys are being cautious with Bryant and his absence is more of a precaution.

Running back DeMarco Murray (foot) also missed practice and his availability for Sunday night's game at Atlanta is doubtful. Murray was seen watching the early portions of practice without a protective boot. He was wearing sneakers.

Stating defensive end Jason Hatcher (leg contusion) and inside linebacker Dan Connor (neck), who suffered injuries in the
Giants game, also missed practice on Wednesday.

Rookie safety Matt Johnson (hamstring), center Phil Costa (ankle) and defensive end Sean Lissemore (ankle) didn't practice as expected.
