Tony Romo: 'Time for us to play our best'

IRVING, Texas – With half the season over, the Cowboys understand there is no margin for error left, starting Sunday at Philadelphia.

“I think for us obviously it’s an important game,” quarterback Tony Romo said. “It’s definitely time for us to play our best football game against an opponent that we obviously didn’t play great against last year. It’ll be a tough environment. It’s an important game for then. And we need to play our best football.”

The Cowboys have never made the playoffs after starting the season with a 3-5 record, but it’s not about making a playoff run.

“There’s a mentality that your back's against the ball and you’ve got to be urgent to get one win,” tight end Jason Witten said. “I think our focus has to be on the Eagles.”
