IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys starting nose tackle Jay Ratliff returned to practice on Wednesday. Ratliff has missed the last two games with a groin injury and missed six games total due to injuries.

Also, starting running back DeMarco Murray missed practice, but it might be more of a precaution than anything else. The Cowboys are being careful with Murray's health as the team enters the late stages of the season. Murray missed six games with a sprained foot but returned for Sunday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Safety Charlie Peprah (foot) and cornerback Orlando Scandrick (hand) missed practice as expected.

Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware, who had his shoulder nicked up in the Eagles game, participated in practice as did wide receiver Miles Austin (hip), center Ryan Cook (knee) and running back Felix Jones (knees).

The Cowboys roster is the healthiest it's been all season with only three players missing practice.
